1. What SETFIT does
SETFIT helps users browse workout preset feeds, manage exercises (create/edit/delete and set timers), and manage user profiles. Users can link a Google account to enable account-based features and data sync.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account data (when you link Google): display name, email address, profile photo (if available), and user identifiers (e.g., UID).
- App content & usage data: your created presets/exercises, work/rest timer values, and in-app settings.
- Device & technical data: device model, OS version, crash/diagnostics data to improve stability and performance.
Guest mode: If you use Guest mode, we aim to collect the minimum data needed to operate the app (stored locally or stored without being directly tied to your identity—depending on the app version/configuration).
3. How we use data
We use data to:
- Provide core features (feed, exercise management, timers, profile)
- Sync and restore your data when you link an account
- Improve security, stability, and performance (e.g., crash analysis)
4. Sharing
We may share data with service providers only as necessary to operate the app, such as:
- Google (e.g., Firebase / Google Sign-In) for authentication, data storage, and infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal data.
If you add third-party SDKs (analytics/ads), you must list them and describe their purposes accurately.
5. Data retention & deletion
- We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes.
- You can request account deletion within the app via [in-app path, e.g., Settings > Delete Account].
- When an account is deleted, we remove the account record and associated personal data unless we are legally required to keep certain data or need it for security/fraud prevention. Apple Developer+1
6. Security
We use appropriate safeguards (access controls, secure communication). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion of your data, and withdraw consent where applicable.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page and/or notify you in the app.
